Artist Statement

My paintings celebrate the beauty of imperfection, capturing my subjects—everything from cityscapes to landscapes, and of course animals—with bold, whimsical lines and vibrant colours. Embracing my unique perspective as an artist, I like to play up the “wonky” in my work, turning it into a celebration of character, and inviting viewers to see the world—and its imperfections—with fresh eyes.
